When an individual is challenged by a painful experience that is too traumatic to be understood, the person's energetic reality splits. It's a survival mechanism.

A lot of split-offs happen in childhood because children are so vulnerable, open and dependant. It can also occur later in life when for example, a person decides to get married. Part of them wants to marry, but another part of them wants nothing to do with that decision. So energetically half of them is in and half of them is out.

That split off of self, usually occurs when the most painful events and thoughts burden the ability of the person to function, so an energetic portion of the self is sacrificed allowing the person to remain functional.

A split can take many forms. The extreme is where a greater part of the personality becomes blocked off and not accessible, except during extremely trying times, where it then gets awakened and triggered, and afterward, seemingly melts into non-existence.

A less severe splitting off is where the extremely painful incident or non-agreeable occurrence later in life, triggers roller coaster kinds of unresolved emotional outbursts.

Some people might use a combination of these types of split-off defences.

This Healing My Split off Selves Meditation propels you directly to the core of your suffering. The splintered and fragmented core is where all your suffering comes from, and so it is also the central place where all healing occurs. By healing the wounds in the core of your feeling self, you are healing the core of your personality. This meditation will slowly heal each and every split off self-created from injury, hostile, emotional and physical attacks, criticism, and painful decisions that never sat right inside of you. One by one all the divided parts of yourself will been healed, reclaimed, and slowly integrated until you have become your whole, healed self.
